Atelier Premiere NY, the French-born, New York-based decorative painting and faux finishing company, is happy to join the D&D Building on the 16th Floor. In their atelier-like space, they present their peerless artisanal skills and exquisite techniques, dating back to 17th century France. Atelier Premiere applies this unique know-how to recreate classical décor as well as brand new finishes for contemporary projects. Introducing the brand new McKinnon and Harris New York flagship showroom at the DDB. Well known to industry insiders, McKinnon and Harris has been crafting estate, garden, and yacht furniture by hand in their Virginia workshop since 1991. Family owned and run, the company sets the standard for high performance aluminum furniture, unmatched for longevity and endurance.
Michael Dawkins Home joins the D&D. It is with great enthusiasm that we introduce the relocation and rebranding of our Flagship Store to join the prestigious company of the D&D. As part of the ongoing evolution, we are launching DAWKINS, a new line of furniture designed by acclaimed designer Michael Dawkins.
In January 2019, oomph, the American Made brand, specializing in lacquer upholstery and lighting, officially joined Quadrille on the 14th floor. The strong “DNA” between Quadrille and oomph, spans not only design aesthetic, but customers and quality as well. The emphasis of the combined showroom is that Quadrille and oomph will produce new fabrics, furniture, and lighting, while supporting our clients with the best customer service possible. Hopefully, this combined showroom will help streamline the rigors of the design process—it’s all about customer service, all of the time, provided in our showroom.
SHOWROOM MOVES
DEDON announces the grand opening of their new Manhattan showroom. Designed by GamFratesi, the airy 5,600 square foot space offers a vast floorplan to view DEDON’s expansive portfolio of luxury outdoor collection, created in collaboration with leading design talents. The showroom is finished with brick walls, wood framings and a color palette that features the warmth of the natural light. An extensive sample wall presents the full range of DEDON fibers, fabric and tabletop options. “We’re delighted with the warm, open, light-suffused space that Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi have created,” says Sonja van der Hagen, Chief Creative Officer of DEDON. “It’s the perfect backdrop for experiencing the full range of DEDON offerings, including our beautiful new 2019 collections by Barber & Osgerby, Werner Aisslinger and GamFratesi themselves.” www.dedon.us
PID Floors is thrilled to announce that they have just opened a brand new 1,200 square foot showroom and have moved from the 15th floor to the 3rd floor at the D&D Building in Manhattan! PID Floors has been in the D&D building for almost six years now, but one thing remains the same – their dedication to durable, sustainable and high-quality flooring for any kind of client. In this new, bigger space, PID intends to give clients the same quality attention and service as before, just with more space to do it.

NEW LOOK
Rob Copley and Sean Robins are excited to announce the expansion of their Studio Van den Akker showroom on the 15th floor. With the additional square footage, Rob and Sean have been able to add several new lines to their showroom including selected pieces by WUD and Konekt. New additions have also been made to SVDA including new lighting, dining and club chairs. Additionally, a curated selection of European vintage 20th Century furniture and lighting is also being presented.
HOLLY HUNT Outdoor will now be available at the HOLLY HUNT New York location in the D&D Building. The showroom is expanding its offering to feature this collection, which brings the elegance and savvy of HOLLY HUNT outside. Visit the showroom’s reimagined 6th floor space to explore this collection of beautifully crafted aluminum framework, graceful suspension, and dynamic fluidity that is the perfect addition to any well-appointed outdoor space.
In an exploration of green texture and form, Janice Parker Landscape Architects has transformed the terrace at Christopher Peacock into a rich garden composition. Parker’s design accentuates the addition of several signature sculptures of bronze, copper, stainless steel and stone from British designer David Harber. The redesigned terrace offers lush plantings, subtle contours and a creative use of materials to create an outdoor room for inspiration and to delight the senses.
