Houlès, suite 919
For fall, Houlès is proud to introduce The Michael Aiduss Collection. The designer’s inspiration for the collection can be traced to The Villa Kerylos, located in the south of France. Michael was first introduced to the Villa through the book “Great Villas of the Riviera”, which was gifted to him by his mother at the beginning of his career. Later, he would stumble upon the villa during a buying trip to France. It was during this visit that the true beauty of the villa came to life, and Michael’s inspiration was all the more solidified. Throughout his career, Kerylos has been a source of inspiration, and among his first thoughts when approached by Houlès to create a trim collection. Michael’s innate inclination toward antiquity, color, and strong graphic elements permeates his designs, while beautifully marrying the technical and manufacturing abilities Houlès is historically known for. With 15 new designs, the collection is largely comprised of jacquards, with several embroideries, and one beautifully hand-woven trim. We invite you to visit us in the showroom, view the collection, and learn more about the beautiful story behind their creation.
